THE STORY

My name is Lauren Baker.

I married into the Baker family and inherited some great recipes!

Following in my mother-in-law's footsteps, I started taking coffee cake to my children's school on the days I substitute taught. The teachers would tell me how much they enjoyed it and it really blessed me to bless them.

Meanwhile, I needed a job. After applying for two positions and neither of them working out, it was the morning of July 24, 2024 that I heard the LORD tell me, "Sell the coffee cake".

So, I obeyed. (John 10:27)

The Bakerie started that day for the glory of God and the good of my family.

Our coffee cakes are available for pickup around the Houston area and delivery to 20 zip codes on Fridays!

"Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in HIM." Psalm 34:8

HOW TO ENJOY

-Store at room temperature in an airtight cake stand or any container.

-Refrigeration is not needed and not recommended.

-If coffee cake is frozen, leave on counter at room temperature for a couple hours to thaw.

-Recommendation for enjoying a single slice: warm for about 10 seconds.

-Recommendation for serving an entire coffee cake: warm for about 1.5-2 minutes to "fluff it up" before serving.

-Want to save for later? Wrap tightly in seran wrap and store in freezer up to 3 months. You may also cut and wrap individual slices for an easy grab 'n go snack or breakfast.

NOTE: All coffee cakes are baked at a commercial kitchen and placed in freezer the same day! These cakes freeze beautifully and will be ready to enjoy at room temperature at the time you select for pick up/delivery.
